“ Super satisfying Greek meal to have in the middle of a road trip, highly recommend. Generous seasoning, crispy falafel, and JUICY grilled chicken that I stole off my boyfriend’s plate. A little salty without a beverage, but overall really great. The owner appears to be handling everything himself and while the floor might gather some dust, the essentials are done excellently: yummy food, clean seating and tables, humble but well stocked bathroom. Definitely coming back next time we’re in town! ”

“ Absolutely amazing! They cook everything fresh and it’s absolutely cooked to perfection and delicious. Very nice married couple own it. It’s just them at the moment so order ahead if you’re in a hurry. Our food came pretty quickly but if there was a line it may take a bit. Let me tell you it’s well worth it. My boyfriend got the garlic chicken sandwich with fries and LOVED it. I am vegetarian and tried the grilled veggie kabob platter. The seasoning on the veggies is mouthwateringly good. Kabob plates come with rice, a small portion of green salad and homemade hummus dip and pita bread. I got a small side of tzatziki. That tzatziki is hands down the best. Fries, rice, salad, all delicious. Owners take pride in getting traditional spices from overseas, organic veggies whenever possible and opt to pay a bit more for the right kind of produce that is flavorful and let me tell you as a foodie I can certainly taste and appreciate the difference it makes! Wonderful people, wonderful food, go and see them or door dash them! Don’t forget the baklava when you do. This is no ordinary baklava I promise you. I don’t even typically like baklava but this stuff is nothing short of magical! ”

“ My best friend recommended this place and I was shocked to see a score of 4.8 with 49 of 50 reviews being 5 stars (the one review that gave this place 1 star can't spell basic words and also gave a McDonalds 5 star rating... so their review doesn't really count to me). Anyway, this is fresh quality homemade style Greek food that you'd get at a Greek festival or a Greek friend's house. It is awesome and reasonably priced. The owner, George, is very friendly and generous. My family shared the Moussaka plate, a Gyro plate, a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, two Spanakopita and Baba Ghanoush. Everything was excellent! I already can't wait to go back here. ”

“ Just go here. We debated on going here for weeks before we finally tried it. WE SHOULDN'T HAVE WAITED. The short version is we're big fans of Greek food and we have a new favorite restaurant. The longer version is this, the food is amazing, you can taste the love in it. The two dishes we got were very different but both were incredible. We are already planning a second trip back tomorrow. The portions are huge. Between the meal and the baklava, I couldn't finish everything and I eat alot. Give this place a try and you'll be very happy. ”

“ Amazing falafels and Gyro burger! The baklava waI recently had the pleasure of visiting Yummy Tummy in Citrus Heights, CA and I must say, I was blown away by the quality of the food and the service. George, the manager, deserves a special shoutout for his outstanding leadership and ensuring that all guests had a fantastic experience. The falafel wrap and gyro burger were both amazing - so fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. It was clear that the ingredients were of the highest quality and prepared with care. I especially enjoyed the unique seasoning and sauces that added an extra layer of deliciousness to the dishes. And let's not forget about the baklava - it was absolutely delicious! I loved how flaky and sweet it was, and it paired perfectly with the coffee. Overall, I highly recommend Yummy Tummy to anyone looking for a truly authentic Mediterranean dining experience. The food is amazing, the service is top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable. If you want to support a great local small business, this is definitely the place to go! ”
